About Us

St Aidan's is an Anglican congregation in the Christchurch suburb of Bryndwr. We have a strong evangelical tradition and are committed to faithful Bible teaching, heart-felt worship and fellowship, and a prayerful engagement in mission, locally and overseas.

Young People

St Aidan's has an active Young People's group. We regularly join with young people from other churches in Bryndwr in ACTIVATE services. ACTIVATE is a contemporary service aimed at creating people who are MAD (Making a Difference). Combining three local churches

  • As a result of the earthquake, we had to take down two chimneys at the vicarage. One we covered with a tarpaulin the other with spare roof tiles from the church. We used an old playground slide as a chute for the bricks.
